I liked this book but.....I dunno. Something was missing. The concept is really neat and i love the fact that Donna has kick ass abilities that allow her to take care of herself (so she doesn't become reliant on the mysterious and gorgeous part-fae she travels with to save her best-friend/possible love-triangle-interest). But I feel as if the world that Mahoney created is lacking in scope or substance. I feel as if she hasn't fleshed out her world enough so that you can imagine yourself in it. Her setting development needs some work I believe, and I'm not totally enamored with her dialogue, although at times it can be very witty and funny. However, that said, if you're looking for teen fiction concerning Fae, I'd say read it. It's not bad at all.
